Astorcare Family & Wellness Services, LLC is a family care, doula, and holistic wellness practice based in Houston, Texas. When this policy says "we," "us," or "Astorcare," that is who we mean. To schedule a consultation and provide care, we collect the details you give us, such as your name, email, phone number, and mailing or service address. Because of the work we do, this often includes sensitive details you choose to share, like your due date or your baby's birth date, pregnancy and postpartum information, and any health or family context relevant to your care.
If you apply through our careers page, we collect your name, contact details, work experience, certifications, and any resume or documents you upload so we can review your application.
Like most websites, ours collects some information automatically through cookies and analytics, such as the pages you view, roughly where you are visiting from, and the type of device and browser you use. This helps us understand what is useful and keep the site working.
We use a small number of trusted service providers to run the practice. They only receive the information needed to do their part, and they are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics across all sites using Google's opt-out browser add-on.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else's advertising. We share it only in these situations:
Astorcare is a wellness, doula, and family care practice. We are not a licensed medical provider, and the information you share with us is not handled as protected health information under HIPAA. We tell you this plainly so nothing is implied that is not true.
That said, we treat the personal and health details you share as private and confidential. We use them only to provide and coordinate your care, we limit who can see them, and we do not share them except as described in this policy.
We keep client records for as long as you are a client and for a reasonable period afterward, so we can meet legal, tax, and record-keeping obligations. Job applications are kept while we consider them and for a limited time after, then removed. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, and we will do so unless we are required to keep it.

Our services support families, but our website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Information about your child that you share as part of your care is treated with the same care as your own.
